Hallo Frank, hallo auch an alle Anderen!
Mein Name ist Dirk und ich besitze eine G2 mit dem Standardzoom und etwas Altglas. Nun hat sich bei uns für den November das zweite Kind angekündigt und ich liebäugle (um möglichst wenig blitzen zu müssen) mit einer lichtstarken Festbrennweite.
Wenn man ein Originalobjektiv mit AF nutzen möchte kam bislang nur das 1,7/20mm Pancake in Frage, dem ja auch eine hervorragende Abbildungsleistung nachgesagt wird. Doch nun kommt das Leica 1,4/25mm raus und die Frage ist ob sich hierfür der (vorraussichtlich) fast doppelte Preis lohnt. Da auch das Leica nicht stabilisiert ist (ich hatte auf einen OIS gehofft) würden nur noch eine noch bessere Abbildungsleistung und eine erheblich schnellere Fokussierung für das Leica sprechen, denn das Pancake ist ja auch noch um einiges kompakter.
Da du das Leica ja schon testen durftest, würde mich deine Meinung zu den beiden Objektiven im Vergleich interessieren, Frank.

Hallo Dirk,
wenn Du Blende 1,4 nicht wirklich benötigst, würde ich mich fürs Pancake entscheiden. Neben dem Preis spricht vor allem seine extreme Kompaktkeit für das Flunder.

Vielen Dank für die Auskunft. Es wird wohl das Pancake werden...obwohl die Testfotos vom Leica, die im Netz zu finden sind, sehr vielversprechend aussehen

In addition to our gallery shots we've also shot a couple of (very) quick comparisons with Panasonic's popular and highly-regarded 20mm F1.7 pancake prime - one of our favourite lenses of the past few years. We've shot the same image with both lenses set to their maximum aperture, using the Panasonic DMC-G3 at ISO 160. In both instances we've attempted to recreate approximately the same framing - meaning the 20mm shots were taken closer to the subject...
